Home Decor for Absolute Geeks

So you think you are a perfect geek just because you have a talking Homer and a Space Invaders mug at your desk? No chance.Maybe a lava lamp or a not-so-exclusive Google mini-fridge? Meh, go away.
To become a respectable geek you should do more than buying used schwags on Ebay for your cubicle. Not to mention that hanging solar system built using old cds is your one way ticket to nerd city.
To become a real geek, just take a look at this gallery of uber-cool home and office appliances, furniture and other decorative elements built just for this purpose.
Most of them are very expensive, and some others are just prototypes. But that shouldn’t be an obstacle in you search for a better geekness. Just be sure to get them now that you are single and free. No wife in her right mind will allow any of these at home!

that’s ridiculously amazing! I’m just wondering exactly how the printer toaster (which is EPIC) works. Do you hook it up to a computer and do a black and white print or what? because if I can I’m going to make every document I need to print on toast.

Also, I think that the author may be slightly misguided in assuming that girlfriends/wives wouldn’t let their men get this stuff, my wife would definitely let me get pretty much everything here. Which is good because I want pretty much everything here. My dream house is full of stuff like this.

Like all the other girls…..I so want this stuff!! I want the couch, the lego kitchen gadgets, the pac-man and space invaders pillows, the luminous ripple faucet, the pixelated sofa, the defendius maze door chain, the arcade coffee table (to go along with my 7 other consoles that I have), the Hans Solo Carbonite desk would look great in my library, and I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t want a giant riding vacuum cleaner…..I would have the cleanest floors ever!!!

When I was done looking at your decorating ideas, I said “Hey! He’s wrong; I’d let my husband decorate like that.” Then I remembered that you qualified your statement with “…..in her right mind….” I guess you are right. Actually, I’ve been trying to think of a way to convince him that I’d really like to make a game/theater room in our front living/dining room and use those space invader wall stickers (sons 8 & 10 agreed). Of course I’m writing to you on my dinky dell mini MACINTOSH computer that my husband “made” for me for our 11th wedding anniversary yesterday.

I´m pretty sure that my 10 year old son and 8 year old daughter will be happy. I´m also sure that my wife won´t mind, as long as I keep it far away from the living room!
